Program Availability

Find out how market coverage, participating-agent availability, state law, and transaction details affect program eligibility.

The Homebuyer Rewards Program is built to expand across markets, but availability is not determined by a simple national map. A purchase can qualify only when a participating real estate professional is available, properly licensed, approved by the relevant brokerage, able to represent the buyer without conflicting obligations, and permitted to provide the proposed reward under the applicable transaction requirements.

What determines availability?

  • The state and local market where the property is located
  • Whether a participating agent and brokerage cover that market
  • Your existing representation agreements or agent relationships
  • Builder registration or procuring-cause issues
  • The compensation available and ultimately received
  • State law, brokerage policy, lender instructions, and settlement requirements
  • The property type and transaction structure

How to check your area

The fastest method is to submit a real property through the Check Your Potential Homebuyer Reward page. Include the city and state even when you do not yet have the complete address. The program can then determine whether coverage exists or whether an additional participating professional is needed.

Markets without current coverage

If no participating professional is currently available, your request may be retained for follow-up while the network expands. This does not guarantee that coverage will be established before you need to purchase. You should not delay urgent housing decisions based solely on anticipated program expansion.

Licensed agents can help expand coverage

Experienced buyer representatives who are interested in serving program leads can review the standards and submit an application on the For Real Estate Agents page. Acceptance is not automatic; licensing, brokerage approval, market fit, responsiveness, and service expectations are reviewed.
